Bath tub reglazing experiences? Anyone reglazed their bath tub? I'm concerned about longevity of the finish and the maintenance. From what I understand we have to clean it practically weekly with non abrasives. I'm used to putting a brush on the end of my power screw and going to town on the tub.
We paid $500 to have a guy come and professionally reglaze our cast iron alcove tub, i gutted the bathroom and preferred that option over wreck out and replacement. The cost for him to come out and redo it is about double what it cost to have it done in the first place because he has to strip it and start over. I ended up moving out of that house a couple months ago.
